Denver attracts first-time investors

Denver is increasingly attractive for office investors and occupiers, and the market is attracting new investors.

CBRE’s Americas Investor Intentions Survey, released at the start of the year, ranked Denver as a top five target among Americas metros, jumping two spots to No. 5, up from No. 7 in the previous year, pointing to the growing tech-driven market appeal of the city.

Preliminary 2020 census figures show Colorado’s population grew at twice the national average. Denver’s diverse industry mix, highly educated workforce, and desirability as a live-work-play city have continued to attract employers and employees, despite the ongoing pandemic. And Denver remains well-positioned for recovery due to its successful vaccination distribution.
