Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, has appointed Jabier Badiola as Spain managing partner, based in the firm’s Madrid office.
Badiola specializes in the origination and restructuring of national and international syndicated lending transactions, in particular, in acquisition financing, structured finance, project finance, corporate lending and debt restructuring, according to Dentons. His clients include financial institutions, corporates and sponsors.
A partner at Dentons since 2015, Badiola brings more than 18 years of experience from international and Spanish law firms. His areas of focus at Dentons include infrastructure and public-private partnerships, as well as the communications, aviation and aerospace industries, among others.
In his new role, Badiola will spearhead the acceleration of Dentons’ strategy for the Spanish market.
