Deka Immobilien, on behalf of its open-end real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienGlobal, has sold an office building in Amsterdam to Aviva Investors for an undisclosed amount.
Located at Strawinskylaan 10 on the western edge of the Zuidas CBD of Amsterdam, the property offers more than 8,100 square meters (87,187 square feet) of leasable space spanning four stories and includes 82 parking spaces. It is fully leased to a law firm under a long-term contract.
According to a statement from Deka Immobilien, the building was acquired by Deka-ImmobilienGlobal as a refurbishment with extension areas in 2004. After holding the property for 16 years and receiving stable cash flows, the opportunity arose to sell to the benefit of the investors.
