Deka Immobilien pays €257 for West End London office
Deka Immobilen has purchased an office building on St. James’s Square in West End, London, from Golden Sense International for £220 million (€257 million/$302 million). The asset was acquired on behalf of the firm’s open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa.
The 8 St James’s Square office building, completed in 2015, has a leasable area of around 5,850 square meters (62,967 square feet) and six parking spaces. It will be used long-term and almost entirely by five parties, with the multinational banking and financial services company Société Générale being the main tenant.
