Deka Immobilien invests in France

Deka Immobilien has acquired an office building in Paris for close to €144 million ($174 million). The seller is the French real estate company Société Foncière Lyonnaise. The property will be added to the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund WestInvest InterSelect.

The 9 Percier office building has an art deco façade, was built in 1929 and was extensively renovated between 2016 and 2019. The property offers close to 6,300 square meters (67,813 square feet) of leasable space and eight parking spaces. The space is leased to eight tenants, with the Swiss insurance group Helvetia being the main tenant. It is located in the middle of the central business district of Paris in the 8th arrondissement and offers very good access by public and private transport.
