CVC DIF and Jersey Telecom (JT), a telecom infrastructure provider in the Channel Islands, have joined forces to acquire Manx Telecom Group from funds managed by Basalt Infrastructure Partners.
Manx Telecom is the incumbent telecommunications provider on the Isle of Man, offering broadband, fixed line, mobile and secure data services to residential, business and public sector customers. The company operates the island’s sole fiber and copper networks, is the island’s No. 1 telecom operator and runs two Tier III data centers.
This acquisition will benefit from the combined knowledge and expertise of two esteemed operators, each with strong local foundations and expanding international reach.
