Cube Infrastructure Managers snaps up Germany’s firstcolo datacenters

Cube Infrastructure Managers has plans to acquire firstcolo datacenters, a Frankfurt-based data center business and provider of colocation, dedicated servers, managed services and private cloud solutions, on behalf of its Cube Infrastructure Fund III.

The seller was EMERAM Capital Partners, an investment company for medium-sized companies in the German-speaking region, and its portfolio company, diva-e Excellence.

Firstcolo owns two state-of-the-art Tier III+ data centers in Frankfurt that are 100 percent powered by green electricity. After the transaction, firstcolo’s two founders will remain shareholders and will continue to lead the company in the next growth phase.
