CAA (Creative Artists Agency), a talent and sports agency, is adding an advisory business tailored to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices to its portfolio. This division, CAA Global Family Office Advisory, will offer advice regarding structure and design, family governance, operational efficiency, board leadership, philanthropy and human capital, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Julie Zorn is set to lead the division, coming from StevenDouglas as head of the family office practice. Prior to that role, Zorn was managing director of Pinnacle Global Family Office Consulting.
Talent agencies are increasingly providing consulting services, including executive search business and sports-focused consulting businesses. Because many clients of talent agencies often fall into the high-net-worth category, incorporating family office advisory is becoming increasingly common for agencies.
