Cording Real Estate Group buys logistics asset in Amsterdam

Cording Real Estate Group, a member of the Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management Platform, has acquired an existing logistics asset in the harbor area of Amsterdam for its Cording Euro Industrial Real Estate Fund (CEIREF).

CEIREF is a Luxembourg-based real estate investment fund that manages small logistics, light industrial and multitenant industrial. The fund was launched in December 2018, and with this latest acquisition consists of 10 assets. CEIREF has a core-plus risk profile and is aimed at institutional investors.

The seller, which is also the developer, is a joint venture between Minerva Development and DHG.

The asset at Nieuwe Hemweg 55 is a logistics complex which is fully leased to a harbor-related tenant that has its storage and distribution facilities there. The property, which comprises 5,200 square meters (55,972 square feet) of modern logistics space, was completed in 2017.
