Continental Properties Co. brings new fund to market

Continental Properties Co., a privately held, national multifamily and commercial real estate developer, owner and operator, is seeking to raise $186.6 million for its new fund, Continental Properties Real Estate Income Fund III, according to an SEC Form D.

The fund’s predecessor, Continental Properties Real Estate Income Fund II, closed in May with $206 million of equity commitments.

The assets in Continental’s funds are newly constructed suburban communities that are strategically located to take advantage of increased migration to the suburbs and the need for more attainable housing.
