Offshore Energy and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), on behalf of the fund Copenhagen Infrastructure III K/S (CI III), have entered into a partnership regarding the continued development of Australia’s first offshore wind farm, the Star of the South.
The project has so far been developed solely by Offshore Energy.
The Star of the South is located off the south coast of Gippsland, Victoria. The site is off the coast in the Bass Strait and has a total expected capacity of up to 2,000 megawatts. Further development of the site will be undertaken jointly by the partnership.
