CIO of Brunel Pension Partnership resigns

Mark Mansley, CIO of the United Kingdom’s Brunel Pension Partnership, has decided to step down from his post.

This week, Mansley broke the news to connections on his LinkedIn page: “Just to let everyone know, I am moving on from Brunel,” he wrote. “I am keen to get back to something more investment-focused and using my creative talents for building and developing new investment businesses.”

He added, “I have really enjoyed building up a successful investment business at Brunel with clear vision and strong products. But now is the time to move on and for new challenges.”

The news comes only months after Brunel appointed a new CEO. Laura Chappell, the pension pool’s former compliance and risk officer, stepped into her new role Jan. 1.
