Christoph Holzmann to join Union Investment Real Estate as COO

Christoph Holzmann has been appointed COO at Union Investment Real Estate GmbH.

In his role as COO, Holzmann will be in charge of developing the business processes of Union Investment’s fast-growing real estate division. His responsibilities will include, in particular, continuous improvement of the operational and organizational structure. He will be a driver of change and optimization, with a focus on digital transformation.

Holzmann joins the company from Beos AG, where as CFO he was responsible for financing, controlling, taxes, risk management and compliance from 2016 onward. A native of Hamburg, Germany, he has around 16 years of experience in the real estate and financial sectors, which he acquired in various positions at Beos, Quantum Immobilien, Berenberg Bank and Deutsche Bank.
