The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) is requesting proposals for a P3 program management consultant to support the timely and successful development of its Regional Infrastructure Accelerator (RIA).
In September 2021, CMAP was awarded a two-year, $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau’s Regional Infrastructure Accelerator (RIA) program. The Bureau supports transportation infrastructure development projects in the United States through innovative financing programs.
The CMAP RIA’s objectives are to accelerate bridge rehabilitations and/or infrastructure related to electric vehicles and the Americans with Disabilities Act in northeastern Illinois. Additional goals are to support CMAP and the region in building the capacity and culture to support P3 delivery while simultaneously improving project delivery due diligence.
