David Atkin, CEO of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), will step down from his role in 2026.
The board has engaged global consulting and human resources firm Korn Ferry to assist a committee with the search process.
Supported by the United Nations, the PRI works to understand the investment implications of responsible investment (RI) factors and to support its international network of investor signatories in incorporating these factors into their investment and ownership decisions.
Launched in New York in 2006, the PRI has grown significantly since it was founded by a small group of investors in partnership with the U.N. Global Compact and UNEP Finance Initiative, and now counts more than 5,000 signatories managing more than $121 trillion.
