Centrus appoints director of M&A with focus on infrastructure

Centrus has appointed Terence Amako as director and head of mergers and acquisitions, providing advisory services to infrastructure funds.

Amako joins the company from Ernst & Young, where he served in a senior role on the firm’s corporate finance advisory team.

Amako also worked as the head of commercial services investments at Scotia Gas Networks, where he focused on investments across the utilities and transport sectors. He also recently advised on the sale of the British Steel business, including transport assets, and the sale of Genesee & Wyoming’s German rail operations.

In his new role, Amako will be responsible for expanding Centrus’ mid-market focused M&A advisory business, providing strategic advice to infrastructure funds across core infrastructure, such as utilities, transport, real estate and the core-plus space.
