CenterPoint Properties, a company specializing in the investment, development and management of industrial real estate and multimodal transportation infrastructure, has appointed Tanner Hayes as senior vice president of ESG and sustainability.
Hayes is based in the firm's corporate headquarters in Oak Brook, Ill.
“Tanner is highly adept in underwriting and transactional oversight for real estate and power-purchase agreements, and he has deep knowledge of technologies ranging from photovoltaic solar to battery storage, energy efficiency and EV charging,” said Chris Papa, CFO of CenterPoint. “We're very happy he's joined our team to help us reach our ambitious ESG goals.”
Hayes most recently worked for global industrial real estate firm Prologis, focusing on the intersection of renewable energy, clean tech, mobility and sustainable building design and construction. Before Prologis, he worked for Regency Centers, a prominent national shopping center owner.
