New York–based Centerbridge Partners has raised more than $605 million on behalf of its Centerbridge Partners Real Estate Fund II, against a target of $2 billion.
According to a filing with the SEC, 46 investors have backed the fund to date, which will invest in assets in the United States. This follows a little more than two years after the firm closed on $894 million for its first dedicated real estate fund, Centerbridge Partners Real Estate Fund.
Centerbridge Partners was seeking $1 billion for that fund.
