Alexandra Campbell has been appointed head of infrastructure for the A$54 billion ($37 billion) Construction and Building Unions Superannuation (Cbus Super), one of the largest public-offer industry superannuation funds in Australia.
Campbell brings extensive experience in the infrastructure sector to the role, having held senior roles in funds management and superannuation and served on the boards of key infrastructure assets, according to a statement by Cbus Super.
Campbell has held senior positions at Avoca Capital Advisors, Hastings Funds Management and, most recently, AustralianSuper, where she helped manage a A$20 billion ($13.7 billion) infrastructure portfolio.
In her new role, Campbell will manage infrastructure investments on behalf of the fund’s 750,000 members, according to Cbus CIO Kristian Fok.
