CBREGI holds final close for Asia Value Partners V with $900m

CBRE Global Investors has completed a final close for its Asia Value Partners V (AVP V) fund with $900 million in equity commitments. The fund has added a significant amount of capital since its first close in July, when it raised $115 million.

The investor base included sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and institutional investors across North America, Europe and the Middle East.

The firm’s flagship pan-Asia value-add investment program was launched in 2009. AVP V follows its predecessors in the fund series in seeking build- or reposition-to-core opportunities focused primarily in developed markets of Asia Pacific, with an overweight to the logistics sector.
