Castellum, one of Sweden's largest listed real estate companies, has received approval to construct a 12-story office property in Stockholm.
The 26,600-square-meter (286,320-square-foot) Infinity office property will be located in Hagastaden, the new urban district that connects Stockholm with Solna and expands the inner city to the north. The property will include 19,800 square meters (213,125 square feet) of office space and has a total investment volume of SEK 1.7 billion ($205 million).
Work is expected to begin in May 2021 and is slated for completion in 2025.
“Infinity will have all the qualities that guide us when we build for the future,” said Martin Bjoorn, CEO of Castellum Region Stockholm-Norr. “With a focus on health and well-being, solar cells on the roof and WELL certification, we contribute with our know-how about the sustainable workplaces of the future.”
