In separate deals, Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT has sold two data centers for a combined $1 billion.
The REIT will sell a 251,141-square-foot data center in metro Chicago for $315 million to an affiliate of Digital Realty Trust and a 14-property data center portfolio to an affiliate of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, a Singapore headquartered real estate investment company and Mapletree Industrial Trust for $750 million.
The transactions are expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017.
