Atlanta-based Carroll Organization has acquired its final property on behalf of its Carroll Multifamily Real Estate Fund V, ending the fund’s investment period.
The real estate agency purchased The GoodWynn at Town Brookhaven, a 392-unit mid-rise property in Atlanta as part of a joint venture with PCCP, a real estate finance and investment management firm focused on commercial real estate debt and equity investments.
The real estate agency plans to renovate interior units and amenities.
The firm’s flagship fund raised $60 million, surpassing its initial $40 million target.
According to Carroll, throughout its 18-month investment period, Fund V worked alongside six different joint venture partners to acquire a diversified portfolio of 64 multifamily properties with a total purchase price of $3 billion and over 20,000 units across six states in the Southeast: Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
