CAPTRUST Financial Advisors has announced that Carolinas Wealth Consulting, doing business as Carolinas Investment Consulting (CIC) in Charlotte, N.C., will be joining their firm.
Founded in 2001 by George Edmiston, CIC is an investment consulting and financial planning firm serving families, endowments, retirement plans and corporations. The 20-member firm serves clients in more than 30 states and oversees more than $1.4 billion in assets.
CIC joined CAPTRUST in January 2025 and, consistent with other firms that have joined the company, will take on the CAPTRUST brand. This will be CAPTRUST’s second location in Charlotte.
