Capital Dynamics has completed the final closing of its Capital Dynamics Clean Energy Infrastructure IX (CEI IX), exceeding its initial target of €300 million ($291 million) by around 75 percent.
CEI IX closed with €521 million ($505 million) in capital commitments thanks to backing from a large globally diversified investor base of new and existing investors, consisting of pension funds, insurance companies, family offices and high-net-worth individuals from across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
Capital Dynamics currently owns and operates more than 30 clean energy projects with a combined capacity of more than 1 gigawatt. The company’s clean energy platform makes direct equity investments in carbon-reducing, renewable power–generating projects that range from late-stage development through commercial operations.
