The Canada Infrastructure Bank has appointed Annie Ropar as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer, effective June 1, 2018.
Ropar will lead all finance and corporate services functions.
Her most recent position was CFO of Aequitas Innovations Inc., which operates the NEO stock exchange, and she is a board member of Ontario Growth Capital Corporation, a provincial agency that supports venture capital investment in Ontario.
As CFO, Ropar will be responsible for financial oversight of Canada Infrastructure Bank’s activities, including implementation of key finance processes and controls, assessing financial performance, and developing the enterprise risk management framework.
As CAO, she will be responsible for oversight of corporate functions, including legal, human resources, technology, operations and information management.
Canada Infrastructure Bank uses federal support to attract private sector and institutional investment to new revenue-generating infrastructure projects that are in the public interest.
