Cabot Square Alternatives has intention to seek admission to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
As part of the listing, the investment company focused on infrastructure and property assets said it is seeking to raise £200 million ($262.88 million) by placing of ordinary shares at £1 ($1.2) per share. It has already received commitments of around £40 million ($52 million) from three investors.
In addition, the company announced the establishment of a placing program that will allow to issue up to 500 million ordinary shares and C shares in aggregate.
Cabot Square Alternatives, which is managed by Cabot Square Capital, said it will provide a new model for investors to access returns from the alternatives sector. Cabot Square Alternatives Adviser serves as the company’s investment adviser.
