CA Ventures plans to redevelop Atlanta condos into high-rise apartments

by Andrea Zander

CA Ventures has purchased the units at Paces Green, a 65-year-old Buckhead mid-rise condominium complex in Atlanta.

The company plans to redevelop the property into an upscale 225-foot apartment tower. It will be 22 stories high with 408 units and 16,400 square feet of retail.

Paces Green is the second 1950s-era mid-rise condo on East Paces Ferry that has been purchased recently with the intention of redevelopment. Nearby, Sobu Flats sold for $28 million to Atlanta-based Portman Holdings, and it will be redeveloped into a hotel.

Mill Creek Residential also recently broke ground on another Buckhead development project, Modera Prominence, a 22-story tower comprising 407 units.
