Buckeye Partners has acquired a 270-megawatt, construction-ready solar project from OCI Solar Power. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The project, deemed Project Parker, includes two sites that are located on adjacent land in Falls County, Texas.
OCI Solar Power has secured site control and completed all permitting and electrical interconnection agreements for the project. The company has already developed 650 megawatts dc of operational solar projects in Texas. Buckeye is planning to begin project design and construction later this year.
The companies expect to bring the project online in the first quarter 2023.
