Brookfield has launched a $100 billion global artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure program in partnership with NVIDIA and the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA).
Brookfield will anchor the program with its new Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF), which has a target of $10 billion of equity commitments to invest in the backbone of AI. BAIIF already has received $5 billion of capital commitments from Brookfield and other institutional and industry partners, including NVIDIA and KIA, which each will join the fund as investors and founding partners.
The fund will acquire up to $100 billion of AI infrastructure assets and deploy investments across every stage of the value chain — from energy and land to data centers and compute. This includes investing in the physical infrastructure assets that underpin the delivery of AI, including AI factories, dedicated behind-the-meter power solutions, compute infrastructure, and strategic adjacencies
