Gresham House has completed a £300 million ($369 million) final close for its British Strategic Investment Fund (BSIF), according to several news reports.
The fund invests in mid-market housing and infrastructure sectors in the United Kingdom that are identified by the government as structurally important areas requiring local investment.
In October 2019, BSIF held an interim close with £200 million ($253 million) in capital commitments and made its first investment in energy storage infrastructure in February 2018. It has now reached its equity fundraising target.
According to Radius Data Exchange, the fund has also invested in renewable energy, battery storage, waste disposal, vertical farming and key worker accommodation.
