Bridge Investment Group, a privately held real estate investment and property management firm, has launched two new real estate funds, according to two filings with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
The first fund, Bridge Debt Strategies Fund III, is a closed-end fund that will invest in debt secured by U.S. properties. It is seeking to raise $1.5 billion in total equity commitments, according to the filing.
The fund’s predecessor, Bridge Debt Strategies Fund II, held a $1.9 billion final close in August 2017. The value-added real estate fund followed a similar strategy to that of its predecessor, ROC Debt Strategies Fund, which had a $400 million final close.
