Brenden Woods leaves MIRA, rejoins Stonepeak

Brenden Woods has rejoined Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners following a short stint at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), according to several media sources.

Woods abandoned his role as head of investor relations last December to take a job with MIRA, where he had also previously worked from 2006 to 2013 before joining Stonepeak as a managing director in 2016, according to his LinkedIn page. He rejoined MIRA as managing director for the firm’s fund’s division in May, according to media sources.

Woods also worked as a partner of infrastructure, energy and real assets at San Diego–based StepStone and as a senior manager at EY/Arthur Anderson.

Woods previously played a major role in helping Stonepeak raise $7.2 billion for its third infrastructure fund, which closed in July 2018.
