The Transport Agency of the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has launched tenders for the concession of a 1,273-kilometer (791-mile) highway modernization project that would connect the city of Piracicaba and the municipality of Panorama, according to InfraPPP.
The BRL 14 billion ($3.7 billion) project would be carried out over 30 years and mark the first zero-carbon highway in the country.
