Denver-based Bow River Capital has held a final closing for its second opportunistic real estate fund (2018 Fund). The fund closed at $186 million, receiving strong support from a diverse group of institutional and individual investors.
The 2018 Fund will invest in commercial and residential real estate with a focus on value-add, distressed and new construction investment opportunities. While the 2018 Fund will consider assets located throughout the United States, its primary focus will be on investment opportunities in Bow River Capital’s Rodeo Region® — defined by the firm as the Rocky Mountain area and surrounding states.
“As we transition into a period of greater volatility, the fund is very well positioned to move quickly as opportunities arise. Speed of execution is a distinct competitive advantage,” said Richard Wham, Bow River’s COO.
