BNP Paribas REIM has acquired, on behalf of Seoul-based Vestas Investment Management, a warehouse in Poland that is considered the second-largest and most advanced e-commerce center in Europe.
It is the first acquisition of Vestas European Logistic Fund, which aims to invest further €250 million ($290 million) in European Logistics asset by the end of the year.
Located in Poland near Szczecin, the building was delivered in September 2017 by Panattoni Europe and is one of the most advanced projects worldwide. The property comprises 1.74 million square feet over three floors. More than 3,000 robots have been put in place to support the employees, using robotics technology.
