Bluefield Partners has announced that Armin Sandhövel has been appointed senior adviser.
Armin will lend his considerable infrastructure investment expertise in areas such as strategy and fundraising, with a particular focus on the DACH market (Germany, Switzerland and Austria).
Armin has extensive expertise in infrastructure and climate-related investments globally, having spent more than 20 years working with climate-positive solutions for the Allianz Group. Most recently, Armin served as CIO, infrastructure equity, for Allianz Global Investors, where he was responsible for impact-related green infrastructure topics and the development of corresponding products for third party investors. In addition, Armin established a carbon-related portfolio which invested into emerging markets, a product that remains a core component of Allianz Group’s carbon neutralization strategy.
