KKR & Co. is planning to expand its long-term ownership unit to include investments in infrastructure and real assets, reported Bloomberg.
KKR’s Strategic Holdings unit, described by co-CEO Joe Bae as a “mini Berkshire Hathaway,” was established to manage 18 long-term private equity investments that generate regular dividends. Launched a little more than a year ago, the division aims to expand into infrastructure, real assets, and sector-specific build-ups.
