Blackstone has appointed Jennifer Abate as senior managing director and head of the registered investment adviser (RIA) channel for Blackstone Private Wealth.
This role is new for Blackstone, and Abate will be the first to hold the title at the company. She will oversee the RIA channel’s strategy, leading the home office coverage and sales and supervising a distribution team in Blackstone offices across the United States.
Abate was previously with Lazard Asset Management for 30 years, where she most recently served as managing director.
