BlackRock’s shift toward ESG prioritization likely to lower returns, increase fees for investors

Over the past two years, BlackRock has begun to shift its investment strategy, placing a much greater emphasis on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors and boosting the presence of ESG funds in its portfolios.
