Black & Veatch, a global engineering, procurement, consulting and construction company specializing in infrastructure development, has recruited James Moos to lead the company’s newly created technology, commercial and industrial (TCI) sector.
Moos, a 30-year technology, infrastructure and government veteran, will be responsible for guiding the growth, design and market strategy for Black & Veatch’s support of clients including advanced manufacturing, cloud computing, clean transportation and agricultural/biotech, which all rely heavily on the availability of new sources of cleaner resilient power and water, among other solutions.
Moos joins the company from Leidos, Inc., where he served in various senior executive level roles — most recently as group president of the company’s civil group.
