Black Spruce Management has plans to sell a stake in its 1,800-unit portfolio of workforce-housing buildings in Manhattan, reported media outlets. The stake has a valuation of $700 million.
The 97-building portfolio has an occupancy of about 97 percent. The assets are concentrated in Upper Manhattan and Hell’s Kitchen in Midtown.
