Bkm Capital Partners, a fund manager specializing in the acquisition and improvement of value-add multi-tenant light industrial properties in metro areas across the western United States, has raised $125 million for BKM Industrial Value Fund II and is nearing a first close, according to IREI’s FundTracker database. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
BKM Industrial Value Fund II was launched in 2017 with a $300 million fundraising target. With leverage, the fund will have $850 million in buying power.
The fund received a $30 million equity commitment from the $11.2 billion Montana Board of Investments in February.
The fund follows its predecessor and Bkm’s debut fund, BKM Industrial Value Fund I, which raised more than $105 million in fund equity and $30 million in co-investment equity for a total of $135 million.
