Berkeley Partners Value Industrial Fund V, managed by Berkeley Partners, has raised an amount just shy of $200 million, an SEC document filed on March 10 shows. Nine investors have backed the value-add fund.
Berkeley Partners, a San Francisco– and Dallas-based value-add real estate investment firm, focuses on light industrial properties in the United States. The firm’s flagship strategy is to invest in local infill, multi-tenanted, light industrial urban core properties in growing U.S. markets.
In February, Texas Municipal Retirement System voted to commit up to $75 million to the fund.
