Barry Schanker has been hired as managing director, head of private wealth, to lead CIM Group’s dedicated Private Wealth team.
Schanker brings more than 30 years of investment experience across real estate, infrastructure, private equity, private credit and hedge funds. Most recently, Schanker was managing director, head of wealth solutions and client portfolio management at FS Investments.
Prior to that, he was managing director, head of U.S. wealth at Man Group. Schanker also held similar positions at Skybridge Capital, Citigroup Alternative Investments and Salomon Smith Barney.
