Barings, on behalf of a European value-add real estate strategy, has acquired a project for 243 residential units in Tumba, on the outskirts of Stockholm, with Innovation Properties as the residential developer.
The development will be spread across six residential buildings and a parking facility. It is located south of Stockholm, within walking distance of Tumba Center and a 26-minute commute to Stockholm’s city center. All buildings in the development will target an EPC A rating, with practical completion of the final unit expected in November 2028.
The project also is focused on social sustainability through a parking building with an activity rooftop featuring a running track, a soccer field and an outdoor gym.
