Baring PE Asia, a unit of Hong Kong–based Baring Private Equity Asia, has raised $1 billion for its second real estate fund, according to Dealstreet Asia.
BPEA Real Estate Fund II will co-invest in Asia markets with the first deal expected to be closed next month.
BPEA Real Estate Fund I, which raised $365 million in equity commitments, is fully deployed.
