Banor has launched a European senior real estate debt strategy targeting between €300 million and €400 million ($348 million and $464 million) of capital, according to IPE Real Assets.
The Banor Senior Debt Fund will provide senior secured loans backed by real estate assets in Italy, the United Kingdom and Spain, with a focus on residential, hospitality and student housing. IPE Real Assets reported the strategy is seeking to capitalize on the gradual pullback of traditional banks from portions of the property lending market.
