Axpo signs long-term PPAs for two Swedish wind farms

A subsidiary of Axpo, Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy, has agreed to buy the power generated by the 60-megawatt Hultema and 16.4-megawatt Norra Hunna wind farms currently under construction in Sweden.

The Hultema wind farm was developed by German wind power company PNE Group and was recently sold to the Swiss infrastructure fund Reichmuth Infrastruktur II. The Norra Hunna wind farm is owned by Hamburg-based Connected Infrastructure Capital. Axpo Nordic, a subsidiary of the Axpo Group, has signed two long-term power-purchase agreements (PPAs) with both owners of the projects.
