AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets appoints Kumar Kalyanakumar as head of Australia

AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets, a global leader in real assets investment and the leading real estate portfolio and asset manager in Europe, has appointed Kumar Kalyanakumar as head of Australia at AXA IM – Real Assets and managing director of Eureka – Real Assets (Eureka), the Australian investment and asset management business it acquired in September 2016. Effective immediately, Kalyanakumar replaces Bob Kelly, allowing the company to continue benefiting from his experience.

Kalyanakumar has been involved in the real estate investment management sector for over 30 years and, as one of the founders of Eureka, has been heavily involved in the running of the business since its establishment in 2004. He holds a number of important client relationships, has a strong understanding of Eureka’s business and strengths, and has played a leading role in its integration into AXA IM – Real Assets, which is now completed.
